Fallon Taylor Run Home Tour LIVE Las Vegas 2016
Hi Y’all, I am so excited to write about this clinic.
On December 6th 2016 at the MGM Grand Las Vegas, David Copperfield Theater I attended the Run Home Tour LIVE. The people who spoke that day were, Fallon Taylor, Jenna Smeenk, Jed Smeenk, and Mac-10 (Who BTW is 12yrs old an amazing public speaker).
The clinic was very motivational, and inspiring. I’m not going to give away too much of what was talked about just in case she does more of these in the future. If someday she does more of these and y’all are able to attend I definitely recommend going.
One of the things that stood out to me that Jed Smeenk said, “It is not about your resources, it’s about being resourceful.” That is totally true. For example, you do not have to have a big brand new dually truck and a huge 4 horse LQ trailer to be a winner or even to just do what you love, you could have just a SUV and a 2 horse bumper pull and you’ve got what you need to get around.
Another thing that they talked about and have talked about before is you are most like the 5 people you are around. I didn’t realize how true this was until I was in Las Vegas this December of 2016. I was around my extended family and great friends, it was just then that I realized what an impact the people around you have on your life. My Aunt, Uncle, Cousin, and I are very like-minded, I felt confident because of the energy around me. We talked about goals and encouraged each other, we even have the same sense of humor. My immediate family is very supportive and encouraging in helping me reach my goals.
When I was talking to my Aunt about the like-minded people, she brought up the crab in a bucket. When there is only one crab in a bucket it can not get out. Add another crab to the bucket and one tries to crawl out the other crab will pull it back in and neither one can get out. The point of that is don’t be a person who pulls and drags other people back just because you do not want them to succeed.
Please keep in mind this clinic did not have horses at it, it was a motivational, goal setting, and mindset clinic. In the future I do want to go to one of her clinics with one of my horses and enter a squad tour barrel race as well.
Like I said earlier in the post if Fallon does one of these again and you are able to go I definitely recommend that you go to one.
