22 Things I Learned in 2022
I have not talked to y’all in quite some time. It has been nearly a year since I have made a blog post. My goal is to get back into blogging a little more consistently. I absolutely love writing and want to get back to it. With that being said, I wanted to share with you twenty-two things I learned in 2022. In no particular order, here is what I learned:
Privacy is peace.
Surround yourself with people you want to be like. You will become most like the five people you surround yourself with, choose wisely.
You can’t change the people around you. But, you can change the people you surround yourself with.
Let people come and go out of your life.
You will likely outgrow a lot of people.
Say “YES” to as many travels/adventures as possible.
Stop taking advice from people who don’t have what you want.
Rejection is protection.
The quality of your friends is more important than the quantity.
Distance yourself from those that disrespect you.
Communication is key.
Take care of your body, you only get one.
Your worth is not tied to your work.
Prioritize personal finance.
You don’t need to make big announcements, work on your dreams in private.
It's okay to trade late night parties, for working hard to set up your future.
Use your weekends to create the life you want to live, not to escape the life you have.
Read a lot of books. The more knowledge you have within you professional and social circle, the better.
Challenge yourself.
Prioritize your spouse over any body else, but keep God number one.
Grow closer to God and he will become closer to you.
Take time for the things that’s provide you fulfillment.
