Holiday Gift Guide 2017: Equestrian Gifts

Hi y'all! So, it is November which means that people are starting to prepare for the Holiday Season. I know I am super excited for the Holidays, Thanksgiving, christmas movies, music, decorations, the National Finals Rodeo, I love everything about this time of year. So, I thought it was appropriate to do an Equestrian gift guide, these have all different price ranges to fit your budget this year.

*This post is not sponsored in any way, all opinions are my own.*

Stocking Stuffers

For the 'Stocking Stuffers' these things are smaller and under $50.

  • Saddle Cross or Feather: I love saddle crosses and put one on every one of my saddles. They also have saddle feathers with really pretty designs. You can get saddle crosses at nearly any tack shop but I have only seen the saddle feathers on Knotty Halters

  • Horse Treats: Peppermints or horse treats are a great stocking stuffer for an equestrian or for an even more personal touch homemade horse treats.

  • Lead rope: This is another great stocking stuffer. Especially if they're customized, visit the 'shop' section to customize a lead rope for you or as a gift.

  • Grooming supplies: Products such as show sheen, fly spray, brushes, etc. are great stocking stuffers.

Little Things

This section is for gifts that are nice things but under $100

  • Hustle and HomeI have one of the latigo's from them and used it for years before it wore out but I will definitely be repurchasing one of these. Each set is $35 and would be a great gift to give or receive.

  • Jeans: I think every equestrian could always use a pair of jeans. I love Wrangler jeans, Miss Me's, Grace in L.A., and Cruel girl jeans.

  • NDJ DesignsI love these reins, they are absolutely stunning. They are customizable as well, so you can choose your length and fringe color. They are not adjustable

  • Halters: These are a great gift for any horse owner to receive. There are many different kinds and price ranges. Rope halters, standard nylon halter or a little fancier option with bronc halters. I will be adding para-cord rope halters to my website soon.

  • Three Wise ChicksI love Three Wise Chicks and I have their Muscle Elixir, Calm, and the Airflo. I use them on me and my Horses, and they are great. They have a ton of great products that I'd love to try and review sometime. I think just about any horse owner would love to receive something from them.

Fancy Things

For the 'Fancy Things' this category is for more extravagant gifts that are $100 or more.

  • Saddle Pad: This is something that I know any equestrian would love to receive whether they ride English or Western. If you're going for style Desert Rose Equine/Best Ever Saddle Pads do amazing work. If you're looking for functionality I've heard amazing things about the CSI Saddle Pad and I believe Sarah Rose McDonald uses them as well.

  • Saddle: This would be an incredible gift and quite the surprise for the one receiving it as well. Corriente Saddles have a more affordable price range for great quality saddles.

  • SMB Boots: I know I like to match the SMB Boots to my outfit or just have a selection of boots to use. Professionals Choice has some really nice ones and so does Classic Equine

  • Tack Set: There are so many different brands to get tack sets from including: Rockin' A Custom Leather, and  Showman Tack is a great affordable option.

  • Cowboy Boots: My absolute favorite cowboy boots are Tin Hauls for riding. They have Mens and Women's boots but they are quite expensive so it's best to grab them when they are on sale. I have only been riding in my Tin Hauls since I bought my first pair 4 years ago, and they are durable too. But I also own Tanner Mark boots which are really pretty and Ferrini boots.

  • Cowboy Hats: This would also be a great gift for the Cowgirl or Cowboy in your life. Glam & Grit has some amazing ones that are felt or straw. American Hat Co has great straw and felt Cowboy hats as well. Another gorgeous brand for Cowboy hats is Charlie 1 horse

  • Helmets: This would be a great gift and provides safety as well. There are so many cute and low profile helmets now-a-days by Troxel, Glam & Grit, and Tipperary Helmets.
