How Are You Hanging Out With Success?

Hey y’all! I hope you guys had an awesome week slaying your goals. This week I accomplished my goal of finding a barrel racing trainer to ride with, while my horse is still is conditioning. Comment on here or on my Instagram @itsacowgirlslife what goal you accomplished this week. So, this week I am going to talk about hanging out with success. Now, what I mean by that is are you surrounding yourself with people who will support you, and are where you want to be or are on the same path.

You are most like the five people you are around the most. Whether you like it or not or try not too, it is science! If you are around people who have a 9-5 job don’t have any goals, lack self-motivation, and spend the weekends sleeping and partying, unfortunately you will become the sixth. If you around five people who are motivated, successful, goal reaching, business owners then you will become the 6th. So find what you want to do and where you want to be and surround yourself with like minded people.

Now, when you are building your SQUAD remember the difference between a friend who is supportive, motivating, and holds you accountable, rather than an in house hater, making hints, and trying to bring you down. If you’ve set a new goal, that might be a big goal, and someone supports you but tells says “you won’t do it” is different than someone telling you “you can’t do it”. Some people do better at following through with things if people doubt they will do it because it gives them a ‘WHY’ which would be to prove them wrong. Some people do better with people encouraging them the whole way and people telling them “you got this, go for it!” I do better with that. So it is super important to find what you want and surround yourself with the right people. So I have a few questions for you to answer yourself, and think about.

  1. What is it you want to do as a career?

  2. Where do you want to live?

  3. What kind of car will you drive?

  4. What are your friends like?

  5. What will people remember you as if you leave the room you just walked into?

Also write down everything you want and what the cost is.

Now, once you have answered those you need to ask yourself who do I need to be and what do I have to do.

Remember if you want a certain thing in your life or for people to treat you with respect and motivate you then you have to start with you and respect and motivate the people around you.

  1. Who will I have to be/how will I have to act?

  2. What will I have to do to be and have these things?

  3. What kind of income do I need to make monthly?

  4. What kind of friend do I need to be?
