Puyallup Rodeo Review

Hey Y’all! I am so excited to do this post for Blogtober day 4! Today I am going to be sharing my review of the 2018 Puyallup Rodeo that is in Puyallup, WA. My Aunt, Uncle and I went to the rodeo on September 9th which was also the short round.

“The Horse is prepared for the day of battle. But the victory belongs with the Lord.” Proverbs 21-31

This arena is stadium seating on only one side of the arena which I really liked. The one thing that really stood out to me was the Military Appreciation they showed, it was the best I had ever seen at a rodeo so far. They had the American flag followed by a flag representing each branch of the military. As each flag went by they had fans who served or are currently serving from those branches stand up which I thought was amazing.

The competition at this rodeo was tough and exciting to watch for every event. Also, because it was the short go everyone was really working to get to the top, at this time it was the last stretch to get your earnings for the fight for the top 15 to go to the NFR.

The energy at this rodeo was amazing! They kept the crowd really engaged the entire time. They interacted with the crowd and they even did a hilarious game with three audience members. They always had something going so you weren’t just sitting and waiting. In between the main performance and the short go they did a mini horse & carriage race which I have to say was pretty intense and then they jumped right into the short go. The energy was so electric during the short round.

I would really love to run at this Rodeo someday! It is a new top favorite Rodeo of mine! Rating it a 1 out of 10, it is an easy 10.

I would love for you to comment below and share what your favorite Rodeo is.
