Love Yourself

Hey y’all! This week so far has been quite the whirlwind. Relationships in my life are struggling and so I’ve really had to lean on my inner guide a lot. In the heat of moments it’s easy to get caught up in the outside noise, worry about what people are saying, what other people think about us, but we have to take a step back and look at what really is.

It’s not my business what other people are thinking about me. It’s not my business to know what people are saying behind my back. At the end of the day those things are out of control and it only is a reflection of their character if they talk about people when that person isn’t there.

Through my experience I’ve really dug down deeper into who I am and what I dwell on and what I let go of and I’ve realized that no matter what situation you’re going through the most beautiful thing you can do is unapologetically be yourself. Always keep your intentions in a good place, there will be people along your journey who will try and control how others see you, if they know they can’t control you.

Some people may even try and change who you are. That’s why it’s super important to be strong enough to be yourself. Just know that you do not have to change who you are for anyone. Ever. The one’s who truly love you will love you for you are; flaws and all. Some will only love you if you fit into their ideal of who you should be, how you should act, what you should wear, and what you should or shouldn’t say.

Not everyone is going to understand you. Not everyone is going to support you in the way you think they should. Not everyone is going to be there for you, when you need them. What I want you to know is it’s not your job to necessarily change their mind. They’re entitled to their feeling the same way you are to yours. It’s okay if people misunderstand you or if they don’t understand your intentions.

Some people may even quit on you. But what I’m about to tell you here is the most important part of this blog post. DO NOT EVER GIVE UP ON YOURSELF. At the end of the day we are all we have. It is essential that we love ourselves unconditionally.

Repeat after me; out loud:

“I love myself.”

“I love who I am unconditionally.”

“I am excited about who I am becoming.”

I hope this post could help you out a little bit. Be sure to pass this message on to someone you know who may need to hear this.
